Página de art journal inspirada por los maravillosos trabajos que estoy viendo últimamente en Facebook usando los tonos amarillos y naranjas.

Art journal page inspired by the amazing creations I've been seeing lately on Facebook using the orange-yellow combo.

También será mi tercera (¡tercera!) entrada para el Mixed Media Monthly Challenge, y es que este mes va de plantillas y paste de textura…. ¿como resistirme a ello? ;)

This art journal page is also my third (third!) entry for the Mixed Media Monthly Challenge of august. The theme is stencils&modelling paste… how can I resist to that?! ;)

Descripción rápida del proceso:

Short description of the process:

1.base de gesso y decoupage de una servilleta.

 coat of gesso as a foundation and then decoupage of a printed serviette

2.ceras aguadas, gesso aguado y sellos.

next I applied watered down pastels (gelatto style), watered down gesso and stamps

3.usando pasta traslúcida y plantillas he hecho los corazones y la pequeña tag. Los he pintado con pintura de acuarela

The hearts and the little tag are made applying clear modelling paste thru stencils. Paint onto them with watercolour paints.

4.la mujer está estampada sobre papel grueso y pintada con acuarelas.

The Prima doll has been stamped onto thick watercolour paper, painted with watercolours and then glued down onto the page.

5.para finalizar algo de doodling, gel gloss sobre la figura y sobre las palabras. Los rayos que salen por detrás de la mujer están reforzados con bolígrafos de colores, pintura dorada y purpurina dorada.

Ending with some doodling and gloss varnish over the doll and the quote.

The rays coming from behind the woman have been popped up with pens, golden paint and golden sticklers.

He seguido un proceso similar, aunque con algunas variaciones, al del tutorial que expliqué aquí.

Overall it's a similar process as the tutorial I posted here  (tho a few variations like different modelling paste or background building up amongst others)
