A christmas tag

I'm not a huge fan of any themed project but I have some lefties from last years' christmas mini so I decided to play along with them and some new tools I have bought recently.
The base of this tag is thick yellow cardstock. First I did some masking using LSG and Glimmer Mists showing bells and green "flowers" (they were suppose to be snowflakes but I changed my mind).
Next step was to distress the card and stamp the lyrics of "wish you a merry christmas" with staz-on ink.
As it was very strong background, I used white gesso to tone it down.
I recently bought an embossing pen and was willing to try it so I went over the masked shapes and embossed there. I also used this pen onto parts of the image (Graphic45) to give some highlights to the dresses, the star and the candles on the tree. It's very shimmery though it's difficult to see with the picture.
The metal flowers were silver and I embossed them with white (as the title).
A bit of more misting, stickles and some acrylic flowers (like snowflakes) and my tag was done.

Another vintage mini

I made this mini using the "timeless" paper collection from Kaisercarft. As for the construction, I followed the tutorial that Anne has done in a video at her YT Channel "xannero". I didn't make it exactly as she shows but very similar.
I had a lot of fun while making this mini because I really loved the papers and enjoyed working with them. There are tons of tags that are shown in a video uploaded soon at my YT channel .

Thanks for reading!

For a friend

Ok, cards are not one of my craft strengths... I wanted to create one for a friend but instead of that the result has been more a mini layout than a card. It measures nearly 7x7!

I've used some WOC and IAR flowers. They have been distressed with walnut stain TH ink.
The bird is a stamp from a bird set (Martha Stewart) that my friend Emma sent to me. I stamped it, painted with LSG products and then "fussy" cut out. It's adhered onto the paper with foam dots, the same as the diecut frame. Sentiment has been black embossed. To give a more aged look to the paper it has been sprayed with LSG choc truffle and though hardly aprecciated, there are gold ink stamped butterflies at the back ground. Chipboard swirls (Dusty Attic) under the flowers and the paper butterflies are distressed also.

My " 3 Times" mini

I made this "3 Times" mini for my mum and her sisters (my aunties) who went to a touristic trip together a couple of months ago.
It has been a lot of years since they got together with no one else but just the three of them. To commemorate that I created a mini for each one of them. All exactly the same in and out, just changing small details to adapt to the name.

Papers and embellishments used here are from Kaisercraft "English Rose" collection.

There is a video uploaded at my YT channel "eluniversoencantado".

Thanks!

A little gift

Recently I went to visit a friend who lives far away from where I live (I mean, I only see her couple of times a year) and I wanted to bring something different. I remembered seeing this idea on one of the many craft blogs I frequently visit (don't know which one, sorry!) so I decided to use it as an inspiration for my present.
Firstly I bought handmade soaps. Then I cut some kraft paper to the size that allowed me to make this shape of a sweet lollie. I stamped two images with Staz-On Timber brown and coloured them with different Lindy's products. To protect the images from being wet I covered them with mod podge.
Besides, I took a couple of Tim Holtz journaling tickets, distressed and stamped the scent of each soap. Again I decorated the words with Lindy's. After that, I wrote a little sentiment for my friend at the back of each one.
Finally I tied up some twine around the extremes and voila! an easy cute gift for someone.

My first Atc

Atc (Artist Trading Card) is a standard measure of card (2.5 x 3.5 inches) that allows you to explore and create easily. You can use whatever technique you want to use so they are very versatile.

In this case, I made this atc for a swap at craftingpassionz . The theme was "Time" and this is what I created.
It's kind of a grunge girly shabby chic style as I've learned (and used as an inspiration) from Wendy Morris.

There is a video at my YT channel explaining the process and showing a sneak peek of my next project ;D
